Session 2

Planting 11, 585 CY: In the morning on a bright, warm day the party meets Ineir, Lenith’s companion, then the head off to Duvik’s Pass, an 80 mile trip. They pass bay laying farmlands, merchants, miners and other travelers when they finally end the day at the crossroads. One leading to Duvik’s Pass and the other route head to Helm’s Vineyard.

Planting 12, 585 CY: On their way, they continue down the road when the party comes upon a group of Foothill Watchmen on patrol. Turns out they where imposters and attack when they where discovered. After they where captured they tried to interrogate Uca, their leader, but he would give up any information. Perhaps he might reveal where their foot holds is located.

Planting 13, 585 CY: While continuing on, this time with three bandits in custody, they are attacked by a wounded black bear and his mate. They are enraged and where attacked shortly before the party arrived. Usually these bears run from humans, a wonder why they attacked so blatantly? Uca had offered to the party, to let him go in an exchange for information. He offered to reveal a location to a lost mine, abandoned years ago by Muskrad to a mining accident. He continued to reveal that it is said that the miners found an abandoned dwarven crypt while they were mining. Soon after a cave in happened and buried forty miners alive. The party debated a bit, but said to Uca that theirs no deal. They continued on and rested at night on the side of the road.

Planting 14, 585 CY: Upon the horizon, between rocks and shrubs is an old building made of white rock blocks. Closer they found that it was occupied by a small group of Goblins who tried to guard it but where routed, into a trap door that lead underground. Bryll mentioned that this was a Watchtower that dated back about around 300 plus years ago, perhaps built by the Aerdy people that once dominated the Great Kingdom.

Planting 15, 585 CY: The party arrives at the small town of Duvik’s Pass late in the evening. They try to meet Mayor Cristofar Sandars, but his Steward had mention that he had retired for the evening and will be available in the morning. The party rest up at Rusty Kettle Tavern, worked by Aidan and Anwyl who are about 13 winters old, but seem to manage the Tavern quite fine. Aidan and Anwyl are the kid owners of their parent’s inn in Duvik’s Pass. There mother recently pass away do to the plague and their father, Cianan had went to the mines to try to help, but has not returned. The party enjoyed some music and mead, then all retired for the night.

Planting 16, 585 CY: After breakfast, the party meets Mayor Sandars at his Manor house. He appeared sick, but still able to move about. He thanked the party, but had mention that he had lost130 people so far to the plague. Perhaps if the party would investigate the new mine about one hour walk south of town.
