A Simple Task

Planting 3rd, Moonday morning

The city, Moskrad is located on the edge of the frontier, at the foothills of Kragspear Mountains. Moskrad’s economy had weaken, due to the frequent attacks made by bandits that steel, plunder and destroy the trade caravans that travels to Moskrad. The adventures are part of a small local organization that works with the Moskrad’s government to rid the local foothills from those bandits or other unscrupulous deviants’. The organization is known as the “Foothill Watchmen” and consists of members of various professions, all willing to improve Moskrads struggling situation. The lord of the Foothill Watchmen is Lord Valkum Gratz a veteran fighter, and merchant lord in Moskrad. He and his advisors put together various tasks that capture these bandits and bring them to justice. Lord Valkum had assigned many other members throughout the foothills on patrols, investigations, and militia support, when a letter arrived from Neis Helm. The letter tells that Neis is having problems with some kind of creature that terrorizes his farmstead and that he needs help with the matter. Lord Valkum sends a small party (the characters) to investigate and solve the situation.
